Bodi ya Wakurugenzi wa TAMFI inapenda kuwaarifu na kuwaalika wadau wa Asasi zinazotoa huduma za kifedha kwa watu wenye kufanya shughuli ndogondogo na za kati (Mirofinance) kujiunga na mtandao huu wa TAMFI. UTANGULIZI
TAMFI ni Shirika la mtando wa kitaifa wa Asasi zinazojihusisha na utoaji wa huduma za kifedha kwa watu wenye kufanya shughuli ndogo ndogo na za kati na taasisi zinazojihusisha na utoaji wa huduma mbalimbali kwa Asasi hizo za fedha. Makao makuu ya Shirika la Mtandao huu yapo Jijini Dar es Salaam katika Jengo la biashara ndogondogo la SIDO liliko katika barabara ya Bibi Titi Mohamed chumba na 25 na 26 upande A.
FAIDA ZA KUWA MWANACHAMA WA TAMFI
Ukiwa mwanachama wa TAMFI unategemea kupata faida zifuatazo:

Kunufaika na nguvu kubwa ya pamoja katika kutatua matatizo yanayoikabili Sekta katika ngazi mbalimbali.
Kunufaika na nguvu kubwa ya kusemewa Kisekta katika vyombo vya Serikali na vya Kimataifa.

THE FIRST BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TANZANIA ASSOCIATION
OF MICROFINANCE INSTITUTIONS
The Annual General Meetings of Tanzania Association of Microfinance Institutions (TAMFI) and the Coalition of Tanzania Microfinance Practitioners and Service Providers Ltd held on 27th July 2010 at Peacock Hotel, Dar-es-Salaam, unanimously agreed to merge into one umbrella Association and agreed to retain the name of TAMFI.
The following Directors were appointed:-
1. Mr. Edmund.P.Mkwawa Managing Director DCB
2. Mr. Joel Mwakitalu Managing Director Global Associates Ltd
3. Mr.Altemius Millinga Executive Director YOSEFO
4. Mr. Abiah N.Kaaya Project Manager SELF- Project
5. Ms. Felistas Coutinho Managing Director Tujijenge Tanzania
6. Mr. Hassan Said Salum Executive Director WEDTF Zanzibar
The first Board of TAMFI which met on 10th August 2010 unanimously elected Mr. Edmund P.Mkwawa the Chairman of TAMFI and Mr. Joel Mwakitalu the Vice Chairman.
The new TAMFI will focus on mobilizing new members, promote capacity building programmes to members, promote communication and networking among members, promote standards of practice in the industry, and strengthen cooperation with the Government and development partners.
